Original Mixed Media Painting on Watercolor Paper by Lisa GP Miller, taken from her personal sketchbooks, painted on-location in various settings throughout the Western U.S. including: Grand Canyon, AZ; Dragoon Mountains in Southern AZ, Northern New Mexico High Desert landscape in and around Santa Fe and Georgia O’Keeffee’s home/studio in Abiquiu NM, throughout Canyonlands National Park and Moab, UT and Coastal Ranchlands in North Santa Barbara County, Big Sur and Sonoma County, CA. Paintings on paper from Lisa Miller’s Sketchbook Series are made in-situ and in the moment; some may have torn edges, paint splatters, fingerprints and other spontaneous markings from the hand of the artist that are to be celebrated. All work is original and signed on the front in pencil.
