“Clarity” is part of a very special bespoke collection of Cloudstones that I made for the Holidays this year. One of only 12 pieces, these inspired objects are part-sculpture, part-painting, and are each original, signed, one-of-a-kind works of art.

Each stone has been mindfully selected for its shape, size, color, texture, weight and overall energetic feeling during walking meditations on my favorite California beaches. Once back in the studio, I wet sand the stone to smooth and subtly shape it, dry it thoroughly in the sun, and meticulously paint layers upon layers of paint and glazes to create the “cloud” effect - a lightness that connects us to the heavens and infinite potential - and is something that contrasts in harmony with the weighty, tangible feeling of the natural stone, connecting and grounding us to the earth.
